-Fastest player in the league.

-Top 4 passer.

-Better shooter than Ben Simmons.

He's really good, but he's just never been able to turn that corner into becoming great. The Wizards should have won that series in 2017 against the Celtics, they were the better team. Wall was pretty awful though shooting sub 40% from the field in what was a very winnable 7 game series even with him playing like trash.

Is he even in the league anymore?

Sadly, I doubt he'll be among the fastest players when he returns.

His midrange game has always been bad. He never mastered changing speeds to throw off defenses. He hits the floor a lot on finishes because he depends on speed instead of finesse/creativity at the rim.

He also refuses to cut. Wall does nothing without the ball in his hands.

He's better at defending big guards and wings than he is against quick point guards who can shoot.

I'm worried that he's going to come back a full step slower, and his whole game just won't work anymore.

No he really wasn't. He could play good D when he wanted to which wasn't very often. He would get lit up a lot. He didn't like running through screens or making defensive rotations.

Then only time he showed consistent effort was when he had a chance for a block.

Is this the same guy that got eliminated by Isaiah Thomas?

He tore his Achilles. He is not the greatest player in the league. Washington had horrible luck.

In his prime maybe, but when he comes back he's likely only gonna be a shell of his former self sadly.
