Those saying "L0l Kawhi 25-6-6 Bran gets that in his sleep Kawhi so over rated!!"
Do you understand that more stats dont remotely = better?
Do you understand that Bran forcing 2-3 more assists by having a record shattering time of possession doesn't mean he has more impact on his teammates than Kawhi does?
Do you understand that INTANGIBLE IMPACT is far more impactful for a leader than forcing stats every single game with record shattering time of possessions and TOs?
Do you guys understand that basketball is not a Microsoft Excel formula?
No. No you don't.
Keep staying casual, Brantards.

Do you understand that James made the Finals 9 times? He's pretty good.
Stop overrating Kawhi, the guy is all defense with a limited very arthritic looking picnic offensive game, how he averages 26 ppg is a miracle, i guess his 3pt shot & FTs are accurate tho.

Agree with your general argument about stats not telling the whole story.
Disagree with Kawhi being a good example for that argument.
What about Kawhi exactly makes him so much better than his numbers would suggest? His stats are already very good and I say it's on you to prove that Kawhi isn't just that - a very good player whose stats tell us everything we need to know about him. What is Kawhi's intangible impact that isn't captured in stats?

His offense is great. It's simple but it works. He gets to his spots and is able to elevate and hit shots at a high %. It's his defense that's gone down after the injury. He's no longer all-defense. But he is right under that level because he still has that long reach and huge hands.

His scoring proficiency is not heavily influenced by the physicality or the strength of defense he is facing. That's the mark of a superstar.

What people need to understand is that you can't change teams in the middle of a series.

Kind of puts into perspective what peak MJ does in this era when a diet coke version of 97 MJ is a top 3 player and defending finals MVP.

With a take like this it is blatant that you are unaware of Kawhi's offensive skillset. It is the most adaptable skillset out of any top player in the game today.
On top of that he's the best shut down defender from all top players.

Kawhi is good don’t get me wrong but he’s playing with like 3 all nba defensive players and 4 players that average near 20ppg. He literally can take nights off and they will blow out the Comp. Bron can’t take nights off

When that happens on every single iteration of every single team he's ever been on, maybe there's one common denominator contributing to the scenario which occurs EVERY single time?
When your whole playstyle is based around "all of the plays HAVE to run through me no matter what happens" and then you're shocked your team falls apart without you....<pikaface.jpg>
Individual stats are great but they only take you so far, they don't promote a winning brand of basketball which includes constant player and ball movement. Those things can never exist in a Bran ball system.
