Clippers signing Joakim Noah

The Clippers are signing veteran free agent center Joakim Noah, to a 10-day contract, reports ESPN.

Noah in 2017-18 played just 7 games, averaging 1.7 PPG for the Knicks.

In 2018-19, he played 42 games, averaging 7.1 PPG and 5.7 RPG in 16.5 minutes per game for the Grizzlies.

He hasn't played in the NBA yet this season.

I have no idea if he can still play. If I had to guess, I would say yes.

Last year he averaged 15/12 pr. 36 with Memphis in 17 minutes.

That's big time impact in small minutes.

Great signing for cheap.

The strategy is pretty simple: contain Anthony Davis at all cost. That's why they got Morris, that is why they got Joakim. The Clippers want to have as many bodies as possible, grit and grind, to throw at Anthony Davis.

If there was any glaring holes and weaknesses the Clipplers showed against the Lakers in their 2 match ups this year is that Anthony Davis completely eviscerated them and it was the reason the games were close and in danger.

The Clippers know old, washed up, has been Lebron is not the problem since they have two players in Kawhi and Paul George who are better than him. Clippers can throw both of them at Lebron with a sprinkle of Bran stopper Patrick Beverly and the series will just be a highlight reel of Lebron shrinkage, disappearing acts and chokes. He ain't the problem, Anthony Davis is.

Not surprised one bit that Lebron fans already raided amazon and ebay of voodoo dolls. It's Kawhi getting injured or bust.
