....that someone as unskilled of a basketball player as Giannis getting the highest PER of all time :wtf:
The way this dude just folds in every big game of his career is just incredible.
When literally the only way you're effective is by charging at the rim like a barbaric clown there is absolutely no way you're the best in the world. Giannis will never be able to 1v5 like a Kawhi and score from literally any spot on the court.
I would honestly take every single top 10 player from the 90s over Giannis. Dude just doesn't have IT not matter what the stats says. If anything it just proves what a joke PER and stats are.

So this is a big game but the last one vs this team wasn’t? Nor was the 40 or whatever fame in the playoffs vs the Celtics or other big games in the playoffs? Games are only big when lost I assume. I suppose he’s the new guy to talk shit on till you can’t anymore and have to adjust standards. He came into the season at 24 years old. He’s years and years shy of when a lot of the GOATS won anything. He’s had more playoff success already than some of the most skilled players of all time did in 15-20 season careers but people truly never learn this lesson.
He’s gotta lose like 7 more years in a row to catch Dirk.....

Giannis has a long way to go to catch Karl and John in terms of big game blunders

1987 - choked 1st rnd vs Warriors (as favorites)
1988 - choked semi's vs Lakers (5 seed)
1989 - choked 1st rnd vs Warriors (as favorites)
1990 - choked 1st rnd vs Suns (as favorites)
1991 - choked semi's vs Trailblazers (5 seed)
1992 - choked WCF vs Trailblazers
1993 - choked 1st rnd vs Sonics
1994 - choked WCF vs Rockets
1995 - choked 1st rnd vs Rockets (as favorites)
1996 - choked WCF vs Sonics
1997 - choked Finals vs Bulls
1998 - choked Finals vs Bulls
1999 - choked semi's vs Blazers
2000 - choked semi's vs Blazers (as favorites)
2001 - choked 1st rnd vs Mavs (as favorites)
2002 - choked 1st rnd vs Kings
2003 - choked 1st rnd vs Kings (5 seed)
Wait till Giannis actually gets a Stockton, they'll be crying collusion/superteam per usual

Everytime Lebron and the Lakers win, you f*cking haters melt down so hard. It's hilarious to watch.

Imagine the Bucks go out round one with a near 70 win team like this:
https://youtu.be/NuMTBV7XkA8
as Giannis has 8 points and gets personally humiliated several times along the way.
ISH would probably be worse on him than it was on Dirk then. The Dirk argument was him being too soft. There was a stupid Dirk Noskillski nickname for a while on here though. Basically you just lose and lose and lose....win....then in retrospect you were a winner all along.
Giannis is likely to be on that list in time. Especially in this era where great teams are remade and shifted around every summer. I single dynasty to be in the way long as guys don’t stick together for decades at a time. No Showtime or Bird Celtics to block people for 10-12 years straight.
Hea already a hall of famer. He’s likely to be a champion too.

did giannis let you down in your blind-hate of the 2nd GOAT? can you possibly get any more pathetic? posting this literal meltdown at 5am?
you'll be complaining that giannis doesnt have a second option and that the lakers and clippers are stacked in no time. just watch. :oldlol:

Does anyone know what game OP is talking about? It can't be the Lakers game last night where Giannis had 32/11/6 which are roughly his season averages.
Middleton going 5-19 on the other hand.....

Giannis doesn't really play basketball.
I've never seen anyone play like this.
He is taking advantage of 3 steps and carry to basically run full steam into players like a rugby player, then trying to throw the ball out while tumbling to the floor.
It's not basketball.

Yes, tell us more about the championships that Chris Paul and Steve Nash won.
Those guys...and their immense skill...certainly won title after title...right?
Kevin Durant won a lot in his 9 years on OKC as good as or better teams around him than Giannis has...right? His skill translated to titles...right?
And after that...tell us about all those titles that have been won in NBA history with teams built around a single star that doesn't have as good of players as a couple other teams in the league. That must be a super long list as well.

This whole "unskilled" narrative going around and this "style" narrative going around are so tilting. There are so many ways to play basketball...
As has been brought up in this thread. Dirk won nothing basically every year. He's one of the most skilled players ever given his position and he's one of the best mid-range players ever. Chris Paul as well...an absolute monster in terms of skill and the mid-range. He's won nothing...never even made the finals.
It is almost as if a game based on athleticism....it is good to be big and athletic...those are advantages....and that while certain skills and abilities are important...team strength and roster construction almost always trump style and skill.
But, tell us more about how Giannis just isn't that good and tell us which players should be expected to win heavily relying on Bledsoe/Middleton.

Milwaukee has one of the deepest teams in the league. What on Earth are you trying to get at here?

Yes, they are very deep.
You'd also rather have the rosters around Leonard and Lebron in a playoff series. That is what I'm getting at.

A team playing very well together doesn’t mean it has a lot of individually special players. But that concept has been hard to grasp forever for some fans.
The Bucks are talent wise a good team that plays like a great one.
