Anthony Davis on why LeBron James should win MVP:

“You guys see what does LeBron does on the floor. We kind of struggle a little bit with him off the floor. I think that this is about who is most valuable to their team, and for me being around it this whole season, that’s LeBron.”

Lebron moved closer to Giannis with the wins, but he's still in 2nd place in the MVP race.

AD is great at massaging his ego. He's the best teammate Lebron's ever had.

It's true. Quite arguably, AD is the best on the team, leading them in points, rebounds, block and steals. LeBron has had a most excellent season for a 35 year old, but he really needs another superstar to be dangerous, someone who can take the lead in points/dominance on a regular basis. AD does that, but doesn't make it look like he's overshadowing LeBron.

Unlikely we will see how it plays out this year though. :( I think either the Clippers or Bucks would have beaten the Lakers, likely the Clippers as long as Leonard was completely healthy.
