Westchester County school closes over coronavirus for rest of year

A Westchester County boarding school with no confirmed cases of the coronavirus will close for the rest of the school year amid fears over the deadly bug, a new report says.

The school said the decision was a precautionary measure as no cases have been identified there.

“This is our precautious decision before any case should occur,” Ivy said, according to the outlet.

Though I respect Walk on Water's intellect on such matters, this is getting a little silly.

I think many times more people have died from the flu this season than there have been people infected with Corona. And in fact, I predict that less people will die from the flu this season than years past, all because everyone is finally practicing good preventative measures. Just like SARS and other similar pandemics, Corona is going to be short lived.

The closing of this school at this stage seems lazy. I mean at least wait until someone in your city catches the thing.

I got banned for talking about the coronavirus in the NBA section too much. But now you see what’s happening. All I was saying is we won’t have basketball soon and that’s inevitable. Look at all the schools. Why do we pretend like we are gonna have the nba in 2 weeks. Not a chance.
