Really well until he got injured. But you know this.

AD has achieved more in the Western Conference than LeBron. Get back to us when LeBron can make the playoffs without Davis.

for real, that's where that argument falls flat on it's face. Even more so when he did that the majority of his career before coming to LA

in the history of the game, name a 2nd option that can match AD

I don't consider 01-04' Kobe a 2nd option because he closed games for those Lakers and often took the most shots, but he's the only guy I can think of

continue to disregard the importance of playmaking. You've done it for years when multiple studies have shown playmaking contributes heavily to offensive success. Not having magic is disrespectful

35yo and #1 seed with arguably the shittiest supporting casts and free agent left overs

Imagine Lebron in his prime out West. GG

West is deeper but East is much better among the top teams

No Warriors this season and Harden/Westbrick Rockets being much worse than the CP3 versions makes the conference worse

35yo led Thunder is like the 4th best team in the conference LOL. Its basically Lakers, Clips and everyone else

Prime LeBron got beat down by Old man Duncan.

He would be perennial Spurs fodder.

do people really think that people trash a conference to make their hero look worse? East was kind of weak, now the league is under more parity.

If the team were without ad and dwight howard, would the lakers even be a playoff contender this year?

Yeah, most certainly

Because AD and Dwight would just be replaced by two other perennial losers that would be refurbished superstars playing under Lebron

Same old cycle (see current Love/Kyrie for more details)

What so Shaq was the 2nd option? Arguably the most dominant big ever, was the 2nd option?

I think you answered your own question.

Portland needs to get in the playoffs, once they do that, they got 'em

He’s gonna say he doesn’t consider him a second option either. Gonna be something like 1a-1b type of deal.

Just to fit his narrative.

No kidding.

The East only looked week because LeBron was so dominant no team stood a chance. It'd be the same story in the West until a real threat like the prime Curry Warriors to even pose a threat. Remember that 4-0 sweep against the Raptors a few years ago? That was a ONE seed. LeBronTosaurus!

Putting two top 5 players on the same squad will usually pay dividends on the court. No, AD didn't lead the Pelicans to anything more than mediocrity, but on the Lakers he only has to play his game. Leading scorer, rebounder and shotblocker. He's kinda important to what they're doing.

Having that said, will ad stay and remain with the lakers after this season ends?
