This isn't a unique thing to Mavs first of all. Sports fans are overall probably among the dumbest grouping you can make.
Ok, so right now they're making KP the scapegoat for the collapse vs Spurs and last game.
They conviniently ignore Luka chucking and playing no defense in the 4th.
In fact, if you watch the entire game, you'll notice Mavs never go up more than a couple points when Luka is scoring and "playing great".
You know why?
Cause when Luka scores, he plays NO DEFENSE, and just wants to run and gun and win by outscoring.
When KP plays well, the Mavs go up double digits. Why? Because KP combines scoring bursts with defensive bursts.
Basically, you're better off making KP, your number one guy, because Luka can not or will not, play defense when his shot is falling.

All you do is complain you sound like a female. Your input is not interesting and your threads are extremely boring

the dumb premise here is that luka is suddenly going become a lockdown defender if he's not doing much offensively. That's just not true either and I dont think has applied to any superstar. Luka should be the number one guy because he's a better offensive player than kp quite simply. Add on it's really hard for any big not named jokic to anchor an offense, kp isnt nearly good enough to. Finally, dallas is historically good offensively offense isnt really a big problem.

Jokic isn't great at it either. It works because Denver's loaded with a bunch of guards of middling talent who need just that slight push to unlock a new level to their game. Nowadays the engine to any good offense is a guy who can playmake off of the pick and roll. It's just way too effective to try anything else.
As for the OP, KP's not being held back by Luka. He's just not well conditioned/healthy enough to do what you're expecting him to do.

Yeah his defense is absolutely terrible. Not sure if its effort or just lack of lateral movement but its pretty bad.
Seriously, you still read stuff in reddit nowadays?

It's the biggest fan forum for Mavs, but no, not really.

KP is supposed to be the Mavs second option and he put up a complete stinker of a game. He essentially ended the Mavs chances with that pathetic effort to retrieve the ball that he threw off a Spurs player trying to avoid a backcourt. But sure, let's blame the guy that had Dallas in the game to begin with.

Where do you rank Steve Nash all-time?

This really doesn't make sense.
You want/need KP to be the 2nd option and really focus on protecting the rim and playing defense. In no way do you want to also burden him with being the 1st option on this team...he's not good enough to do that anyway offensively, but you don't want that.
What this team needs is better defenders around Luka.
Yes, absolutely, Luka has big room for improvement on defense. He's currently bad. He has room for improvement on offense as well. But, again...and hopefully for one of the last times...he is an elite offensive player that makes his teammates better in real ways. He's one of the better 21 year old players the league has ever seen.
Instead of blaming him for last night...maybe talk about the guy that has sucked the last 2 games...rather than blaming the guy that actually played well. I know there always has to be an agenda against Luka...and some of the criticism is fair, but this roster is outperforming its talent level and sometimes guys just don't show up. Not always Luka's fault.
