Nothing tops Breaking Bad.

Completely original, with a-grade acting, characters, cinematography, story/plot, special effects.

Deep, introspective. A social commentary on morality. The study of man and his ego.

The show was 100% driven, focused. It knew what its premise was, and knew where it was headed. There was no hesitation, no second guessing. There was absolutely no filler. It was simply a masterclass in storytelling.

Vince Gilligan perfectly balanced realism and theatricality. It was grounded, yet over-the-top.

Breaking Bad, with a huge gap...

That actually destroyed TV series for me... wanted to enjoy something afterwards as much, but nope... desperately wanting, seeking, something anywhere that good, but nope.... even tried Better Call Saul, nice try, not bad, but NOPE....

Game of Thrones was ok, i enjoyed it at least.
The Wire/Sopranos, meh, didnt drag me in.

I enjoyed The Witcher lately tho, but for entertainment reasons, wouldnt rank it very high.

STARGATE SG1 was a weird guilty pleasure for me, i guess i like a good sci-fi with a witty Richard Dean Anderson.

EDIT: Prison Break Season 1 only! That i rank up close but still behind Breaking Bad.
