26 rebounds in one game is very high for someone who's below 6'10". I guess not many small players can do that nowadays.

Yup and even fewer can get that many rebounds while they are contested.

It's high for someone over 6'10. And 34 points on top of that? And Barkley was on the downside of his prime at this point.

Umm no. You said 26 rebounds is high for someone below 6'10. My comment was intended to mean that it would also be high for *someone* over 6'10, not saying that Barkley was over 6'10.

But, to clarity my comment which I thought was straightforward but apparently not, 26 rebounds is high for a player of any height. I trust that clarifies my position.

True his peak was 1989 to 1993

Well how would i know? You didn't even use the word 'also' to indicate your point, which is why i have assumed that you were talking about Barkley's height when you said that.

But anyways, i do get it now. In fact, I am really surprised to learn that he was able to grab that number of boards for someone who's a shooting guard.

You can see in this video that he's put on some weight from his MVP season and I don't recall him looking that heavy in 94 either. Dude was just flat-out talented and had a great feel for the game.

I don't know if ''also' would have made much difference, you just seemed to think I was referring to Chuck. Maybe I should have just said 'its high for a player of any height' from the getgo. I mean, I thought it was kind of an odd take in general. 26 rebounds is a hell of a rebounding night by any measure. That's like, a Wilt Chamberlain type stat but in an era not built for those kinds of inflated numbers.

In any event, it's a message board, things sometimes get lost in translation, and it's not a big deal.

Yup. Maybe if he was more dedicated to taking care of his body he might have lasted longer on a good level.

Because i got confused with your post so that's why i thought that's what you're trying to say here earlier. Besides, i have already indicated that having 26 rebounds is very high which is extraordinary, moreso for his size but that's not saying you don't have a point. Tho sure it ain't a big deal. It just causes confusion. So it's all good.
