Anyone else watching this? I saw it on recently and taped it. Great stuff.
It reminds me what a huge year 1984 was, one of the most important in NBA history. Bird and Magic both had rings but this was the first time they met in the Finals. The hype was unbelievable and the series exceeded the hype. The popularity of the NBA shot up to a degree that would be hard to envision today.
A few months Hakeem, Jordan, Barkley and Stockton were drafted.
