Lebron is still the best player on planet Earth. I wonder what you all think

In spurts, especially taking into acount game management and decision making, sure. But you can tweak the wording and the answer can come out Giannis or Kawhi.

he only beat the West 3 times, so he only makes 3 Finals if he played out West for his career

that's why winning the Finals matters - otherwise your Finals appearance was conference-dependant (cringe)

that's why lebron is nowhere near goat - his resume is based on a weak conference and stacking the deck in said conference... and we haven't even mentioned his weaker accolades and stats (not #1 in PPG, PER, BPM, or WS/48 like the real goat)... and weaker clutch

nope, just the opposite

put Lebron out West for his career and he'd be on a "stacked" Western team plowing through competition even more than he did out East

at 35yo has a washed version 2017 Pelicans in #1 seed

Lebron had the most stacked teams

"not 6, not 7" casts in Miami and his 15' cast was the league favorite before the Kyrie injury

yet he could only beat the west 3 times

the biggest fraud ever..

a total loser in the championship - what's his win-loss record in the Finals? like 18-32 or some garbage? so his teams are the "LA Clippers" of the Finals (back when they sucked,)

as usual, LeBron's weak scoring ability compared to mj, bird or Kobe causes him to need an equal scoring and usage partner to win

You mean if lebron was only drafted by a western team back in 2003 and stayed in that conference for 15 years, he'd probably have more championships? Rofl. 😹

actually, lebron stays losing MVP's (none in 7 years)

and championships (3/9 and 3/17 overall - the worst out of any top 10 candidate)

ultimately, his style turns teammates into spot-up shooters which doesn't develop teammates or good brand, so he must win via talent acquired via team-hopping.. the biggest loser MO ever

how does the goat go 7 years in his prime with no MVP?

how does the goat team up with the best help possible and then proceed to be a perennial loser/underdog?

how does the goat lose to Dwight Howard as a +700 favorite and the overall league favorite?

How is the goat not a great shooter from any distance?

the facts have spoken - lebron is nowhere near goat..

Scottie Pippen... you mean the guy with the biggest gap from the #1 option in the history of the game??? (10-30 less than mj in every series)... that guy????.. :oldlol:

face facts:

LeBron always needed a 3rd star scorer to win (Big 3).. he also needed an equal scoring and usage partner to win (and closer), whereas mj had the biggest scoring gap ever between him and his sidekick, and always closed

in 2014, wade put up 15/4/4 on 44% as a second option.

in 1998, when mj had “no help,” kukoc was putting up 15/5/4 on 50% as a third option.

29 less ppg were scored in 98 finals...

Kyrie 16-17' (https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/i/irvinky01.html#2016-2017-sum:playoffs_advanced)...... outplayed league mvp.. hit Finals-winning shot
Pippen 91-96' (https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/p/pippesc01.html#1991-1996-sum:playoffs_advanced)... outplayed by schrempf.. no winning shots

Ultimately, the Bulls would've been much better on both sides of the ball with Kyrie replacing Pippen - they'd have better offense because of Kyrie, and better defense because the team can pursue cheaper defenders and hustle guys versus needing expensive scorers and shooters like Pippen's weaker offense requires.

If many of you think that lebron is really the goat, then why did he went to the miami heat again back in 2010?

We ain’t talking about Bron being GOAT. It is clear this title belongs to MJ. We talking about bron still being the best in the nba. Durant was the only one that could dethrown the king but he is injured and out of the picture now.

Just the fact at 35 in his 17th season he's legitimately in the conversation is amazing enough. If and when the playoffs do happen, we'll have a clearer idea of who the BITW is

I agree. It is amazing what he is able to pull off at this age and with the total minutes played. He reminds me of pre-injury Kobe. He is just so freakishly strong and athletic tho. His body seems in much better shape than Kobe’s was in his 17th season.
