After leaving the Bulls, Pippen was instantly demoted to 3rd option all year on the Rockets, and sucked all year (14.5 ppg on 43%) - he was nothing without the triangle (system player) or MJ..

you take a series where Pippen shot 32.9% and was universally panned for, and act like he played great because you're too young to know what really happened.. Kobe was laughing at Pippen in that series and Pippen was hammered by all critics for that series.. remember, the Jazz swept those Lakers

Pippen is an all time great but he has no case over being better or more dominant than prime and peak Barkley. Sure at that time Barkley had become a role player but even then he showed up in that 1999 series vs the Lakers at ages 36-37 more than Pippen.
