At this point, I highly doubt it. I really thought he had an opportunity when GS stacked the deck with Durant. Sure, he’s a better player obviously, but you would think that Steph had a great chance to outplay him in a series.

If you would have told me 5 years ago that Steph would be playing in the next 5 Finals, I would never have thought he would find a way to underperform every year on the big stage.

Anyway, not saying his window is closed, but 5 chances in a row in your prime is quite a few.

Of course, what do you expect about a guy who just suffered a strained right calf in the west semifinals, only to aggravate it into an achilles tendon injury in the finals the moment he debuted for the first time in 9 playoff games?

He was clearly talking about 2018

Oh my bad. When he mentioned "last", i thought he was talking about the finals last year against the raptors.

So? Was he actually better than KD in 3 out of 4 games? Durant was better defensively and he ended up being more efficient for the series. KD outscored Curry by 32 points (43 to 11) in the only close game of that series and hit the shot that basically ended the series. KD's just a better player.

Which player do you think deserves FMVP?

A) 29/11/8 65%TS 129 ORTG 104 DRTG

B) 28/6/7 56%TS 111 ORTG 109 DRTG

i don't believe he will, looks like GSW is already recruiting for a new #1 option in Giannis. steph is kind of just a mascot for kids, marketed to low income housing. similar to Dellavedova

I don’t see your point. My point still stands. Curry still outscored KD in 3 out of 4 games even though that game ended that series.. so I say Curry’s just the better player.

i think what he's trying to say is KD unlike Curry plays defense. for example Iggy and KD took responsibility to guard Lebron and Kawhi, along with Dray. curry on the other hand deferred to Klay guarding Kyrie. here's a great example of cavs targeting Curry to get him in a switch for an easier bucket

Kobe started 1 for 6, Curry is currently 0 for 5.
