2001 Lakers beat the 1991 Bulls in 6 due to edge in championship experience. Bulls wreak havoc with the Lakers' half-court, but over the series, Shaq's dominance wears down the Bulls' frontcourt, forcing the Bulls to double-team more than necessary, giving Bryant enough room to shake free from Jordan and Pippen to make clutch plays. Jordan goes nu-cuh-leah to the tune of 40 points per game, but that's not enough.

1986 Celtics destroy the 2017 Warriors in 5. That all-time great frontcourt (Bird, Parish, Walton, McHale) plainly overpowers Durant and Green up front, and Dennis Johnson shuts down Klay and Danny Aigne bites Curry every other play.

1987 Lakers sweep the 2004 Pistons. No contest. If the 1987 Lakers could beat a superior version of this Pistons in the 80s...

2012 Heat edge the 2009 Lakers in 6. Bryant outduels James, but Wade steps up enough to offset Bryant, and Bosh makes Gasol his bitch.

1995 Rockets beat the 2006 Heat in 6. Hakeem at his absolute peak is too quick for a slow and old Shaq, and Wade won't find room to shake the vast array of Rockets defenders. Cassell and Smith bomb enough from outside to sink the Heat.

1995 Magic and 2012 Thunder go the distance, and Game 7 ends in double overtime with a clutch free throw from Nick Anderson.
:oldlol:

2014 Spurs sweep the 2017 Cavaliers. Popovich owns LBJ.

The 01 Lakers may barely get by the 91 and 98 Bulls, but the other Bull title teams would have defeated them rather easily. After being on different forums for years, I would say that the 01 Lakers are the most overrated team ever.

Another historical team that I would like to see the 01 Flukers play would be the 86 Rockets. The Twin Towers and Captain Video would take them apart in five. They beat a vastly superior Laker team in the 1986 WCF.

1986 Celtics destroy 2017 Warriors?

I stopped reading right there lmao.

Danny Ainge won’t stop Curry.

I am a big fan of Bird but he will not stop Durant at all.

Dennis Johnson stops Klay how exactly?

What the **** did I just read. The 2017 Warriors are too damn stacked to be beat by any team in history. Maybe 2001 Lakers, only team I can see have a slight chance because of Shaq

The 2017 spurs would have given that warriors team a run for their own money if it weren't for zaza screwing kawhi in that year's wcf game 1. By that, i mean the warriors would still have won most likely but at least they wouldn't end up sweeping them unlike in the two rounds prior.

'96 Sonics vs '95 Magic

'01 Lakers vs '12 Heat

'09 Lakers vs '13 Heat

'87 Lakers vs '86 Celtics

'71 Bucks vs '67 Sixers

'16 Warriors vs '96 Bulls

'11 Mavs vs '06 Heat

To bad all those 1 guy championships were in the West. '75 Warriors, '94 Rockets, '03 Spurs and to an lesser extent '11 Mavs. But those would be interesting matchups. Maybe some WCFs, same for a '96 Bulls vs '16 Cavs duell.
