No one truly has Wilt as the GOAT because of his blatantly shameless statpadding nature, it was clear that his stats just weren't as naturally obtained and weren't as impactful as the numbers may have seemed.

Bran has followed the exact same trajectory except he fell a little short of Wilt in terms of eye gouging statistics. Their statistical prowess is definitely one to be feared, unmatched throughout history.

Good thing a majority of true basketball purists know that stats aren't even remotely the fully story, about only 20% of the actual story.

Many of his peers, players who went against him and LEGENDS have Lebron in their top 5. Or "Mount Rushmore".

Stats aside, just watching Bron play you would know he's one of the best. Athletic. Built like a tank. Incredible finisher and passer etc.

Both have issues with fundamentals
Both have questionable mental toughness
Both have amazing stats

I do have Wilt as GOAT (and LeBron at top 3-5) and so do/did others whose opinions are never promoted by the biased and marketing-driven media, like Drexler, Embiid, Pippen, Earl Monroe or Connie Hawkins. You can even see that many who don't directly "dare" call him the GOAT just can't take him off the "GOAT candidates" list.

Stats are way more than 20% of the story. If they weren't, Horry would be a GOAT candidate and Bill Russell would have a lot more votes for GOAT (which he should have anyway, since people forget that, minus shooting and volume scoring, he was elite at pretty much everything, tangibles and not - personal and team defense, rebounding, passing, blocking, playmaking and opening fast breaks as a big, clutch ability, being a leader, playing through injuries etc).
