its been a fun decade for me. I enjoyed every single finals except for the last two with kd. what a bitch, he ruined what could've been a great rivalry because they were fairly evenly matched. golden state easily could've won that series.

Kawhi leonard requested a trade two years ago after his last disappointing season with the spurs and his wish was granted when he was sent to the toronto raptors in exchange for demar derozan. Raptors president ujiri even said this was a risky move due to leonard's pending free agency the following year.

Impressively, his level of play didn't seem to diminish at all and especially in the playoffs, he contributed greatly to the raptors being finally able to break through the conference finals, which could also be attributed to lbj going to the west that season but nevertheless, the raptors have won their first-ever title last year against a hobbled warriors team.

Demar, meanwhile, continues to do what he did in toronto albeit with a somewhat decline but there are simply much better teams in the west than the spurs. Surprisingly though, they finished with a better record than the lakers last year, lebron's maiden season with that team and therefore, still made the playoffs, pushing the 2nd seed nuggets in 7 games before bowing out.
