Sounds like it's just for the play offs....which would be ideal for the Wolves since right now we are in the top 3 group for the draft. I don't want to risk moving out of the top 3 because then our odds decrease!

Do they think Vegas is safer?

No travel. This way they can stay in one location.

That makes sense then. Test them and have them all self isolate between games.

How is it possible or even legal or fair to police that? And if they can’t police it, do we really expect players not to go out in Vegas???

Isn't everything closed in Vegas? Or are they not following the same protocols that major cities like NY, LA, even New Orleans are

Test every game. Nowhere to go now.

It’s closed. I was just assuming whenever the league opens up in any form, a lot of other places would be opening back up as well. Either way, the playoffs is 2 months, they can’t coordinate with the rest of Vegas to make sure they don’t open everything back up during that time.

Maybe have all players stay in a big hotel.

Test before every game to ensure it can’t be spread. Test coaches and staff as well.

Lmao.

Their plan can't possibly be:

1R: BO5
CSF: 1 game
CF: 1 game
Finals: BO5

Bahaha?

What difference does it make to have a BO5 and not a BO7 in the finals? These guys are idiots.

Well, there will clearly be a scheduling issue for them if this goes past May. You have to take into account that these guys won't have played any real ball for months and you'll have to give each team rest between the games as well, so they might end up having to do that in order to protect the players & not cut into the start of the NFL season. It's going to be an issue if they want to do this thing in 1 location to limit travel.

in order to help with rust, we will have 1-off game conference semis and finals... makes sense doe.

they shouldnt give af about cutting into the NFL season. its the finals.

They should, because the NFL has a bigger fanbase in the States and usually gets more coverage than the NBA & a NFL team just moved to Vegas as well, so there are multiple factors at play here, and I'm sure they will only have a certain amount of time to do this Vegas thing, it will cost them a ton of money to rent all that space for every Playoff team & there likely won't be any ticket revenue either.

Season is over. Not a credible source. CJ McCollum outta pocket should keep his mouth shut before KD body bags him again. Scrub.

should just do it like the UFC is doing it, have events but no one in the arena except the fighters, there crew and the staff to handle the event.

The UFC has more leverage because it can fire any employee without the protection of a union. It would surprise me if they played the season under those conditions. The owners would surely want something in exchange for losing arena revenue.
