Clearing obvious symptoms is great (fever, dry cough, etc), but what remains to be seen is did they, or will they develop any level of:
1. Pulmonary Fibrosis, which will lead to a life of permanently compromised lungs
2. Myocarditis, which causes heart muscle to weaken over time, and causes irregular heart rhythms
3. Testicular swelling which can hamper reproductive ability later in life.
All 3 of these things are long term risks for us young strong healthy dudes who were never at risk of death from COVID-19

very very unlikely that any of that will happen if they improved so quickly, and without need for hospitalization (coming from pulmonary/critical care doc)

There might be some lung damage which is negligible for most everyone but I wonder how it affects an athlete who needs every last bit of performance.
But who gives a fucc about their careers? The real question is what kind of immunity, if any, did they gain? And what does that mean for the rest of the country's ability to return to work?

if all nba players are cleared soon, they need to get the league started back up. have them play in empty gyms, just finish the season

if they had any damage on critical stuff like that, they wouldve felt serious pain at some point. that takes extreme inflammation you can feel.

With fans present while they play their remaining games?
