#1. LeBron = 9 occurrences (18, 17, 16, 15, 13, 12, 09, 07)
#2. Jordan = 7 occurrences (98, 97, 96, 93, 92, 91)
#3. Russell = 5 occurrences (66, 65, 63, 62, 60)

Cemented top 3 obviously...

Next in line:

Shaq = 3 occurrences (04, 02, 00)
Magic = 3 occurrences (88, 97, 85)
West = 3 occurrences (70, 69, 68)
Kareem = 3 occurrences (80, 74, 71)
Duncan = 2 occurrences (03, 99)
Bird = 2 occurrences (86, 84)
Moses = 2 occurrences (83, 81)
Frazier = 2 (73, 72)

No other players have more than one for their entire careers...Kawhi, Durant, Pau Gasol, Garnet, Dirk, Curry

Who is next to break into the 3 or more category? Could Kawhi or Durant or Curry do it?

Could anyone break into the top 3? Obviously no one will ever break LeBron's record of 9. Not MJ. Not Russell. Not nobody.

Bran is the undisputed Microsoft Excel GOAT, there is no debating that.

NINE. Next best has 6. Then 5.

Let it sink in. He is the GOAT.

Did you count this year? The trajectory of the NBA at that time had the Lakers going on to be champions. He would have led the league in play offs win shares again.

*edit to top 3 cemented

#1 LBJ (18, 17, 16, 15, 13, 12, 09, 07) = 9x
#2 MJ (98, 97, 96, 92, 91, 90, 89) 7x
#3 Russell (66, 65, 63, 62, 60) 5x

That's just wishful thinking. You can't be champion if you don't win a total of 16 games in the postseason.

Just more icing on the cake. We stay winning, gapping MJ and company

Was this the playoff MVP all along? We had the top 3 cemented and never knew it. I guess it's possible for us to put this argument to bed now?

If leading the league in playoff WS determines playoff MVP which determines who's the best all time, does that mean you think West > Duncan and Bird?

The numbers don't lie. I've never been to high on Bird, Duncan yes, but Bird no.

If anything it shows playoff MVP dominance. If Finala MVPs areso valued, playoff MVP is even better. Harder to sustain for the entire playoffs.
