That person has to know, right? I mean they were able to trace it back to the wet market, if they're to be believed.
Therefore it would only make sense they were able to easily identify the first case...
Do you think that person is walking around with an immense amount of guilt or they're just going about their business and absolutely not giving a ****?

Not really. A lot of times the virus has to jump to an intermediary host before it reaches a human being. A lot of people believe that a pangolin was involved as an intermediate host.
