Such a good game to witness. Game 6 Ray's shot. Then King Daddy takes it home for the chip.

*Thank you Ray I agree that Ray Allen saved LeBron's legacy just for the fact that the game was over if that shot missed that game would have been over.

But you forget that Miami was deep trouble at the end of the 3rd qtr.

Miami had a 12 point deficit at the end of 3rd qtr and LeBron did an amazing job in the 4th qtr to lead them back.

LeBron shot 7/11 on 64% (16 points) and shot a clutch 3 to make it possible to tie the game. He also had an incredible block on Tim Duncan that led to a layup later on.

The Miami Heat would have went away if it wasn't for James contributions and of course Allens too.

Also LeBron hit the go-ahead bucket in OT to give the Heat the lead too.

After Game 6, LeBron capped the series off with an amazing Game 7 performance for the ages and hit the dagger to finish things off in Game 7 to get his 2nd Finals MVP and the Heat its 2nd title in the Heatles era.

Bran had his struggles early on in the series, but gotta give props for this kind of performance in a game 7. Scoring 37 of the Heat's 90 points is pretty damn impressive. He picked up everyone's slack (didn't only like 5 players for the Heat score or some shit? :oldlol:) and hit that huge shot over Kawhi to put them up 4. Big time performance when it mattered most.

Imagine what the narrative would be if Ray missed the shot? The Ray Allen argument over looks quite a few things, deliberately of course.

This one would still sting if I were Timmy tbh. Duncan dominated game 6. Had a huge 30/17 performance at age 37. Definitely would've been finals MVP had the Spurs won.

Then Pop takes him out, Bosh taps the rebound out to Allen, Spurs lose the game, Duncan misses a wide open point blank layup late in game 7, and the rest is history. Just brutal if you're Duncan, though I'm sure the 2014 ring lessens the burn a little.

And they've led 3-2 before losing the last two games to the heat.

So many missed chances which is why Duncan's facial expression looked like that. :oldlol:

Bran went off this game, probably biggest unmatched carry job in finals history

his OffRtg was144 and DefRtg was 95, what a carry

His other options disappeared into the night but bran got it done right. Good throw back.

yessir

only 5 heat players scored a point in game 7 13' finals, and one of them was 3 points :oldlol:

Mike Miller, Chris Bosh, Chris Anderson, Ray Allen, and Udonis Haslem combined for = 1 for 15 fg

not a typo

Those guys all combined for 1 field goal made on 15 attempts. LeBron should have lost game 7 but he was too goaty to let it happen

Although 2014 was very sweet (especially the way they dominated those last 3 games), I would have preferred winning in 2013. Duncan would surely have won his 4th FMVP (breaking him out of the pack tied with Magic and Shaq) with only MJ ahead - and especially at age 37 - that would have been quite an individual feat. I blame Pop for playing percentages instead of his best player (All-NBA 1st team, All-Defensive 2nd team in 2013).
