As per Brian Windhorts. Those who live in reality and not in LeBronville knew a lockdown was imminent. Too bad for Giannis, Kawhi and others for their virtuoso seasons.. greatest PER, best record and prohibited favorites. Giannis should get MVP.

They haven't shut anything down yet officially but they might as well have. This isn't going to be a dead story in 30 days at which point it will be May... certainly not a dead of enough story to resume everything 100%. Unless they decide to just cancel the regular season... and not have fans. And do this in a month. Do we really think they're going to do that? Probably not.

The Lakers had probably at least a 40% chance of winning the title this year if not more... and just like that... gone.

While I understand LeBron teamed up with Wade and Bosh... outside of that, this guy has had one of the unluckiest careers ever in terms of supporting casts good enough to actually win rings, given his talent level. Between his first 7 years in Cleveland with an absolute dog shit supporting cast... Wade declining like 2 years after getting together, the injury to Kyrie in 2015, the Durant Warriors and now this? He might have missed out on 3 to 5 more rings. Unreal. And it's going to put a massive dent in his all time numbers.

And you know it's funny because if he had another 5 rings he would go down as the undisputed GOAT... not that I think he is the GOAT regardless. He could have 8 rings and not be the GOAT imo but that is not what the general consensus would be.

It's funny, us sports fans really don't have many brain cells to put together and judge people aside from team accomplishments.

Oh well, as much as I enjoy the player, LeBron James is a racist ego-maniacal douche... so lol.

At least he did get a ring last year when that dub crap team broke down because of injuries.

That would mean the same for all the other sports then right? I cant see the NBA being cancelled and not the MLB, NHL, and NFL

in terms of securing skilled labors through compensation. the league certainly has the pocket and domestic appeal in reaching such conclusion.

reminds me of the story line about Dirk with questionable female character news broke out, loses finals, then beats the Miami Heat

they will just play out this season whenever they can.

even if its december, they can just play the post-season then.

the injury to Kyrie in 2015

^^^ this is legit - Lebron gets ring #3 in 2015 if Kyrie was healthy

Between his first 7 years in Cleveland with an absolute dog shit supporting cast

Dwight's cast was dogshit too, but he made the 09' Finals, so lebron deserves blame for losing the conference as a big favorite

Everyone was winning the conference with garbage casts in that decade (AI, Kidd, Dwight, Lebron).. so lebron should've made the Finals, but ceded the easy run to Dwight

Wade declining like 2 years after getting together

13-14' Wade declined to prime Pippen numbers - so when I complain about Pippen, think of 13-14' Wade and then you'll understand

the Durant Warriors

Durant teamed up with Warriors for 3 years, but Lebron teamed up with Wade/Bosh for 4 years, so it cancels out

and now this? He might have missed out on 3 to 5 more rings. Unreal.

Twice Lebron landed on teams favored to win the ring in year 1 of existence (2011, 2015) - that's the easiest path possible and obviously harder than building favorite status over several years

Yes he got unlucky in 2015 via Kyrie injury, but got his revenge in 2016 when he caught several lucky breaks to win it

And it's going to put a massive dent in his all time numbers.

Longevity was never going to get him goat status

There's already someone with better rate stats and winning
