Time after time after time, coincidence after coincidence after coincidence, warning after warning ignored.

At what point are people gonna realize that this is more than a blunder?

We have proof that there was financial interests from Trump and co.

The article notes that, by the time the first memo was sent, the first cases of COVID-19 had already been reported in the US. So Navarro's recommendation for a travel ban was already too late even though it was set in place 2 days later. :confusedshrug:

The article makes no mention of any financial interests from Trump and co. So what exactly are you referring to? The nonsense you posted in the other thread about hydroxychloroquine?

Stop being an idiot and stop defending Trump.

He was warned and this is another example of someone INSIDE his administration getting early warnings. He didn't act, he didn't act on time, he didn't do what he was warned repeatedly by multiple offices.

His very now ECONOMIC ADVISOR issued the warning.

GOP members with knowledge of the warnings took advantage and profited from this. They KNEW people would die. They KNEW supplies were low. They KNEW it would cost jobs and trillions of dollars. They KNEW it was a pandemic.

They purposely lied, lied, lied and lied continuously.

Yep. Trump set the China travel restrictions and the opposition (corporate media, Democrat party) called it racist, xenophobic, and poor decision.

The problems we're seeing isn't a Trump/GOP thing, it's a bureaucracy thing. This is the result of too many layers of bureaucracy and a giant, bloated federal gov't.

...after physical distancing and 97% of Americans ordered to stay at home. What do you think would have happened if we went on business as usual as Lil Donny wanted? He wanted to open up everything by Easter, and he got huuuuge push back that he backed down. Even after we reverse the lockdown, we will have to be careful there isn't another wave. Spanish flu on 1918 had 3 waves over a period of 2.5 years. We have modern medicine & should have a vaccine by next spring so just have to get there.

I'll clue you in on something....Physical distancing is not the cause of the dramatic correction in the projection.

The dramatic correction is a direct result of the original projection being way off base.

So you actually think physical distancing or shutting down schools/businesses did not lower/impact the spread of covid-19? :facepalm

He said "it's not the cause of the DRAMATIC correction in the projection". He didn't say social distancing had no impact at all.

A month ago, they projected that California would have 25 million infections within 8 weeks. We're currently at 19,000.

Pay attention, little boy. Physical distancing is not the reason the projection of over 2 million DEATHS has drastically dropped to just 60 thousand now.

lil donny trump was right. dems are begging him: "please mr president, there's too much winning, please let the coronavirus be worse"

but he keeps leading us to victory

do you guys think with trump in charge we'll end up with more or less than 2,000,000 deaths from coronavirus??

Liberals get to pick whether to believe that the Trump admin saved ~1.95 million lives, or their precious mainstream media and "science experts" have been lying to everyone and crashed the economy over a seasonal cold.

2 million deaths was projected if we didn't do anything to flatten the curve and we just went about our business. This is what would happen if you/tpols/coin24/nanners were in charge

150k-200k deaths was projected if 50% of our population did physical distancing. We clearly have much bigger number of people heeding the warning/physical distancing, and that is why the rate of growth is down. When rate of growth drops, the curve is flattening because you are probably close to peak. That's why latest projections show 60k. Rate of growth we had over last few weeks was steep exponential growth.

Get your facts straight.

it makes total sense, "social distancing" is definitely the reason that the projected death toll has dropped to 1/20th of the original projection... pay no attention to the fact that there is not a single iota of evidence that shutting down hairdressers and restaurants while standing slightly further away from strangers can reduce the effectiveness of a virus by 95%

your other post was even worse. 2 million deaths?

total bullshit that is impossible to prove and pure conjecture. The models HAD social distancing in effect. And now the projections are dropping off a cliff.

16k have died so far, 80k died from the flu in 2018. You are a sheep. They are pimping this crisis for ratings, money and power.

Germany, Sweden, South Korea, China, Japan are all open. No lockdown. And of course many more countries as well.

Since you are unable to comprehend, here:

We have much higher percentage than 50% of population practicing physical distancing so 100k-200k projection is down to 60k now.

False again. Most flu deaths we ever had was 61k in 2018.. https://www.cdc.gov/flu/about/burden/index.html

Also, from those countries, China went through lock down already. SK had good testing off the bat and solid protocol to quarantine infected. Germany/Sweden I'm not sure about. Japan hospitals are close to being overwhelmed last I heard a week ago but they do naturally wear masks already so they won't spread as much as here.

Why do you keep lying, intentionally misquoting and making up numbers? What's your agenda here? If you are trying to troll, then I congratulate you. You got me there. Well done :applause:

And that was an idiotic and irresponsible projection to begin with. The country was shut down with that projection. Stop trying to save yourself here. As I stated before, but you're too daft to understand, the drastic drop in the projections have nothing to do with social distancing. It was stupid and absurd to put a number out there, and then to watch the corrections of those projections completely be way off. It is an impossibility to gauge social distancing and actually get concrete data from that.

What's more concrete is herd immunity. California being a prime example.
