The spin move is often a crutch for young players who aren't good at finishing with their off-hand.
I'd think GM's would be smart enough to realize this when drafting players like Randle, Tyreke Evans, Andrew Wiggins, and RJ Barrett (I could keep going, but these were the first 4 to pop in my head). Coaches are smart enough to exploit it. Especially for guys who are also relatively weak on free throws. Play them to their off hand, sit on the spin, and hack them if they beat you. Easy.
