Trump does all these briefings and gets so much coverage but people aren’t really talking about Biden. Trump has a lot of supporters. I have a lot of family that loves Trump. Liberals live in this fantasy world where only their views count.

Trump supporters love their guy much more than liberals love Biden. And you hardly hear about Biden. Trump is a big time celebrity.

The dems tried to impeach Trump and that didn’t seem to do much. Now they’re trying to push the virus and use it to make Trump look bad and it’s not working. Watch The Young Turks channel. They are so biased. Channels like CNN push people away.

The only thing the dems could hope for is to win the popular vote due to California. But I don’t think they’re gonna do any better than last time. I think it’s gonna be a blowout for Trump.

there's a lot of arguments to be had... lots of variables, too. especially compared to 2016. for one, in favor if the dems, joe is a MUCH more likeable candidate that hillary ever was... that can't be stressed enough. i think that's a big reason bernie did so well in 2016. but at the same time, the guy is running on another 'vote for me because i'm not trump' slogan. what do dems stand for anyway? his bet is on the 'orange man bad' folk that don't have the time to really digest news besides msm. not to mention joe is wasting away by the day.

in trump's favor - trump is the incumbent... pretty big deal in his favor. if he can control this virus properly and reopen the economy in a timely enough fashion, i'd put my odds on him. in one ear he has his health professionals and in the other he has fortune 500 ceo's. how he weighs and balances both sides and puts forth a solid plan going forward as far as mass testing and quarantines for those infected will determine whether or not we end up having a second wave come fall, just in time for the november erection.

Biden can't get progressives to vote for him nearly enough to win. He's toast. This is on the DNC, we could have had a great president. Instead we get 4 more years of the Mango.

picking a candidate in our broke down laws means nothing ... we will get something from one candidate and steal as well .... both parties are the same.

I guess we have to ask our selves , do we want rich folks get richer , or do you want companies to get richer ???

Trump folks have made rich folks richer..

Middle class keep getting poorer , and impoverished class gets even more poorer....

But if you look at dollar signs ... you probably make more than your dad , and yet do not realize you are still living his same life style compared to the rest of us.

One thing American's do not realize is that we are wealthy compared to the rest of the world ... and that is where the spoiled card comes in.

After three years, it should be easier to say “I’m a Trump supporter” instead of “I’m not a Trump supporter, but...”.

Don’t be cowards. Admit that you love the man.

Biggest landslide since 1984 is coming. Especially with democrats wanting not wanting people to work. Not wanting to pass bills that would help the common person. They continue to shoot themselves in the foot.

Rush has the largest audience. Largest audience = indicative of America.

Old style pearl clutching democrats that do it for "public health & safety" are the exact same. Politicians that live in a bubble that think they are do-gooders.

both sides have their faults. neither side is clean and are more interrelated than seen on the surface.

Trump does all these briefings and gets so much coverage but people aren’t really talking about Biden. Trump has a lot of supporters. I have a lot of family that loves Trump. Liberals live in this fantasy world where only their views count.

Trump's briefings (and general execution) have started to hurt his standing and any good will and trust from those who were hoping to rally behind him in the face of this viral outbreak... so much so that even his supporters and advisers are calling for him to take a step back and let Pence and the experts take the foreground.

On Wednesday, six separate pollsters released new surveys. (https://www.politico.com/news/2020/04/08/trump-approval-ratings-coronavirus-176105) In all six, Trump’s approval rating was below 50 percent, ranging between 40 percent and 45 percent. And each suggested Americans had at best a mixed opinion of his response to the virus, and those with trendlines from weeks earlier in the crisis showed an uptick in the percentage of those critical of Trump’s response.

Trump's not being helped by this...

This is a very brilliant enemy. You know, it’s a brilliant enemy. They develop drugs like the antibiotics. You see it. Antibiotics used to solve every problem. Now one of the biggest problems the world has is the germ has gotten so brilliant that the antibiotic can’t keep up with it.

And now he has retweeted a post about firing Fauci after a Fauci interview where he said...

"I mean, obviously, you could logically say that if you had a process that was ongoing and you started mitigation earlier, you could have saved lives," Fauci, the nation's top infectious disease expert, told CNN's Jake Tapper on "State of the Union" when asked if social distancing and stay-at-home measures could have prevented deaths had they been put in place in February, instead of mid-March.

"Obviously, no one is going to deny that. But what goes into those decisions is complicated," added Fauci, who is a key member of the Trump administration's coronavirus task force. "But you're right, I mean, obviously, if we had right from the very beginning shut everything down, it may have been a little bit different. But there was a lot of pushback about shutting things down back then."

Asked why the President didn't recommend social distancing guidelines until mid-March -- about three weeks after the nation's top health experts recommended they be put in place -- Fauci said, "You know, Jake, as I have said many times, we look at it from a pure health standpoint. We make a recommendation. Often, the recommendation is taken. Sometimes it's not. But we -- it is what it is. We are where we are right now."

At this point, Trump's response to this outbreak has reaffirmed voters' middling expectations of him and is likely helping Joe Biden.

Trump is not well liked but he gets the republican agenda through and that's enough for a lot of people. If Biden does win it will be for the same reason on the democrat side.

You called me a Bernie Bro just three days ago (http://www.insidehoops.com/forum/showthread.php?479076-RIP-America-Those-who-would-give-up-liberty-for-(supposed)-safety-deserve-neither&p=13964042&viewfull=1#post13964042), in a post that implied that I agree with Bernie on everything... but now I ride Trumps dick?

Anyway, being "meh" on Biden still makes you far more enthusiastic than the majority of potential dem voters...
