Tardigrades are among the most resilient animals known,[9][10] with individual species able to survive extreme conditions—such as exposure to extreme temperatures, extreme pressures (both high and low), air deprivation, radiation, dehydration, and starvation—that would quickly kill most other known forms of life. Tardigrades have survived exposure to outer space.

No tardigrade would cramp up and have their body shut down because the AC was out. Nor for that matter did the many players who played before air conditioning was standard in arenas. The Boston garden had no air and allowed smoking. This is Larry Bird in a finals game where the indoor heat peaked at 99 degrees:

Lebron was literally carried off the floor when it was 88 degrees....

Lets leave the near indestructible creatures that would survive a nuclear blast that sent them hurling into outer space out of comparisons against humans who need an IV and two Robert Kraft approved masseuses to get back on the floor when it’s the normal temperature of playing basketball outside in the summer.

No doubt he should have been softer at home and paid someone to do the work that ruined his back in his 30s....
But believe it or not he played more full and near full(80 games)
seasons than Lebron despite playing far less years. They didn’t sit out while healthy in those days. Takes a toll. But being a man often does.

No doubt “Highway miles” James lasted many years of gentle cruise control at 60 while getting millions of dollars in maintenance along the way. Impressive. But it’s hard to compare those soccer mom road trip miles to the joy riding Larry Bird did.

They just didn’t play the same way.
Even the best can be soft a hell of a lot longer than they can be hard.
Thats a lesson you will learn when you start ****ing women instead of daydreaming of Lebron James.

Lebron is essentially a Cadillac with a north star engine. When properly maintained by say....a rental car agency...it will last forever. 200k miles of easy highway miles with parts periodically replaced. But in the real world owned by a person who finds out the water pump or thermostat is bad because the car overheats? It’s dead around 100k because the first time it overheats the aluminum warps and you need new head gaskets. Not an analogy I expect you to grasp since you’re likely of the generation that can’t even change their own oil but go check with your dad....that’s the most apt analogy of 2020.
Northstar/highway miles James is amazing. But a big part of it is the expensive maintenance and soft miles. Hard to compare to old school types who didn’t spend a million a year on various machines and dark rituals to extend their lives unnaturally like Emperor Palpatine or some other ancient evil doer while also having the benefit of softer rules in place.
That’s all the responding to trolls I have in me for this week so I’m gonna go eat some captain crunch. Just keep the new topics and bumps to a minimum so you don’t lose two more alts by the end of the day.

fascinating debate. although right now I to give the edge to water bear, however if Lebron James can overcome this pandemic, shouldering the burden of Kobe's death and win a chip. things may change

Tardigrades are usually about 0.5 mm (0.02 in) long when fully grown.
Good comparison.
