Nobody with that combination of athleticism, playmaking, handling and range. he had it all. damn the injury, him and DRose would have made some noise in the playoffs.

Yeah but don't forget he's getting old too. That said, it would be interesting what impact could he have made for his team if not for those given distractions.

He was a ticking bomb for injury. the hope was just that hes gonna last the season

He got better at shooting in the last years but still got no post game, not a dominant rebounder, not a dominant defender etc but he is one of the best passing and athletic dunking PFs in the last decade.

he has one of the best post games in thr league wtf. and he can rebound but he was always paired with centers that pad rebounds because theyre pretty shit at doing anything else (DJ, Dre) so he lets them grab rebounds like a good teammate. as for defense yeah hes average but not bad, but op clearly says offensively

I give Blake props for adding elements to his game. When he's healthy, there's no reason why he shouldn't be the 3rd best PF in the world. Only behind Giannis and AD. Offensively, only Giannis combined scoring and passing better among the PF's in the league lately. I've always said Blake's ultimate upside would have been like a freakish athlete like Amare combined with the offensive tools of C Webb. With the injuries, he's not quite the freak athlete that he once was. Even though he's still a stud obviously athletically.

BUT since he's evolved, he channel more of his C Webb side to his game. But even if Blake never had those injury issues, Giannis and AD simply would have been better players regardless. Giannis, AD, and KG are in a class of their own when it comes to positionless types of 6'11 to 7'0 players in the two way sense. Blake offensively can do similar shit to those guys. But the difference is the height and defensive side of the floor.
