Dude had a motor.
He was just more offensively skilled than like umm everyone but Jerry West. Another white boy embarrassing some black boys.

Specifically? No, I’m saying that’s how they dominated and embarrassed black boys in their respective eras ... not due to absurd athleticism or super genetic gifts.

West was sick with it.

West holds the NBA record for the highest points per game average in a playoff series with 46.3.

Thats a lot of points.

Most underrated player from the pre-Magic/Bird era.

This dude had some serious talent.

I wont troll and say it was a weak era - Im just saying can you imagine hypothetically if lbj was allowed to stiff arm and elbow those guys in the head? he wouldnt need to shoot a single jumpshot it would be wilt 2.0 except clutch and without the patented wilt choking.

If Pistol Pete played in today's era (or any era with a 3 point line where he would be given the freedom to shoot) he'd be a better version of Curry.

Right up there with anyone in history as a pure scorer.

Go to 1:48 in this video. Walton talks about how they retroactively looked at every shot Maravich took in college and if he had played with a 3 point line he would have averaged 13 makes a game for a total of 57 ppg. That isn't even an opinion. That's based on actual facts where he actually shot the ball
