Did the 2015 Dubs have any finals veterans?
If not the answers to this question are Stephen Curry and...?

Kawhi last year.
Kawhi had been to the finals twice before.
Kawhi had been to the finals twice before.
Your question in this thread is somewhat confusing. I simply thought it could be one superstar who have gone to the finals before already while all of his other teammates just made it there for the very first time.

So the player in question has to have never made in the Finals either?
Only one I can think of, besides Durant, is Bird in '81

Yes, everyone on the roster should be to the finals for the first time.
Durant didn't win the championship in 2012. Are you thinking of something else?
2004 Pistons
Elden Campbell played in the 1991 NBA Finals.

Nope. One player has actually played for the lakers in the 1991 finals, which they lost to the bulls.

Michael Jordan did in 1991. Is he the only one to do so iconically?

So a roster full of finals virgins and still couldn't win FMVP? Not 1 single vote.

Combine that with the Kareem robbery and one should conclude it is a completely shameless and manipulated award. Steph is too good for it.

Arnie Risen who was on the 1957 Celtics team was also on the champion 1951 Rochester Royals.
Dick Barnett of the 1970 Knicks was in the 1963 finals.
Bob Boozer of the Bucks was on the Lakers in 1966.
Rick Barry was in the 1967 finals prior to winning in 1975.

Arnie Risen looks like he qualifies with that 1951 Royals team.

Thanks, so that leaves Jordan, Bird, Jabbar and Curry. Forgot about Barry's first finals. Duncan was close, but pretty sure Mario Elie was on the 99 Spurs without looking it up.

Actually Abdul-Jabbar doesn't qualify because of Bob Boozer. Didn't check other teammates.
I get the feeling Bill Walton also qualifies, but haven't checked thoroughly.
