Decisions get made at pitch meetings all the time, especially when both parties have went back and forth for months. Its not like Jordan went into the meeting cold with no idea what was going on. And either way, you honestly wouldn't make the make a big deal about this if he waited a week later? Be honest, if you're looking for a way to shit on him, you would just point out Jordan only made the decision a week after Lebron won that championship. How long is he supposed to wait if thats what he ultimately wanted to do after hearing the pitch?

People covering Jordan have mentioned that he's afraid of becoming old and forgotten so its definitely possible Lebron's hype had something to do with it - I don't think it was Lebron's hype specifically, but just later era's hype in general. When this documentary starting to have legs no one was saying Lebron was as good as Jordan. Alot of people were moving on and some were even saying Steph was a better player at that point.

My point is its not like Jordan was bullshitting around and picked up the phone in a rage of insecurity watching the parade and said lets do the documentary.
