Seems like he got that nickname in college because he "always delivered". It's an awesome nickname, but he never won a ring in the NBA. He kind of reminds me of a power forward version of prime James Harden (incredible scorer, switch rebounds for assists, but wasn't really clutch in the playoffs and didn't put it all together).
Imagine Harden with "the mailman" nickname. He'd get clowned for it.
