So your point is irrelevant....

Lebron started a super-team era where the league had 2 dominant teams and 28 sub-par teams
So your stats mean nothing
Otoh, it's well-known that MJ played at a time when league parity was at a peak - many teams had 2 stars, and comparable casts..
but in recent years, it's been 2 super-teams with Big 3's (Heat/Spurs or Cavs/Warriors), and then 28 mostly 1-star teams - the worst parity ever, thanks to "the decision"

Yes, KD’s move was made in direct retaliation to LeBron’s multiple collusions with his conference’s best players...In 2011 LeBron joined with the #2 PER in the league and former FMVP D Wade and up coming superstar #4 PER in the league Chris Bosh. He normalized these types of moves and then subsequently had to deal with the aftermath. He unknowingly dug his own grave while trying to find the easy way out.

Exactly
His "decision" started a super-team trend where the league had 2 teams with Big 3's (Cavs/Warriors or Heat/Spurs) and 28 sub-par teams (mostly 1-star teams)
The top heavy league explains the higher net rating of the top teams
Otoh, MJ's era was a 2-star team league - many teams had 2 stars and comparable casts, so lower net rating
The reality is that lebron had his OWN super-teams to face his comp, but his ball-domnation simply couldn't elevate his super-team to the same level as the opponent's ball movement
