Yes. My sources can confirm that our nukes can go into space and to other planets.

We should pretend that China is an asteroid.

A big 'KABOOM!' once it actually hits.

1. could a star be exploded and earth still remains to be part of it's trajectory path? it'd most likely involve earth currently being influenced by the center force of such very star, aka, the sun and the moon. and even so, say the moon were to explode, the very idea of life on earth in itself would suggest earth would go out of orbit of moon's trajectory prior to its explosion.

2. sure, we could send a nuclear bomb to another star in which two star planets center force aren't currently connected, yet, that would mean the transfer of energy created by the sun being transferred to another location for simple drilling purpose and be exhausted in a very short amount of time. chances are, it'll hurt the eco-system of the ocean at the very least.

Yes.
It’s within our ability to destroy the right size asteroid with the right size nuclear ICBM.

What’s much more valuable to perfect, is the technique of asteroid re-direction, and partial asteroid disassembly .... by using explosions inside & behind “platinum group asteroids” to bring them closer to us .... to mine them.

Royal Dutch Shell oil company is already investing in research for asteroid belt mining, and expects to utilize outdated nuclear weapons donations to achieve some of the Re-direction and opening of platinum group asteroids by 2040.

You could certainly break up an asteroid with a nuclear weapon, but you would then have to contend with the smaller, but still dangerous pieces that would eventually strike the earth

Your best best with an asteroid is to detonate a nuclear weapon in proximity to the asteroid when it is still far away in order to change the path of the asteroid, causing it to miss the planet entirely.

The asteroid related Deep Impact had Morgan Freeman serving as the President.

Asteroids and / or Comets are a problem that needs to be addressed. They are just finding out that much of the mega-fauna extinction at the end of the last Ice Age most likely was triggered by some kind of impact or impacts. The period since then has been relatively quiet with regard to major strikes and has allowed civilization to flourish. But, just one major impact would threaten everything once again. Scientist are rightfully concerned.

The problem with blowing one up is that you just might make the situation worse if you're not careful.

I´d say yes, but it would be complicated. But anything is possible.
