33 more games to do it.
I wonder how many more years it will take to get to 6 chips.
kd is going to climb that list for sure even if he's hobbled

Long as a guy who puts up 40ppg and sweeps the playoffs scores less total points than someone who does 30 but takes 23 games this is gonna be a hard stat to value. Shaq does like 30/15 and goes 15-1 in the playoffs on the way to a ring but Reggie Miller scores more points in 2000 losing because he won less games. The way to score more in total.....is losing more games per series. And that doesn’t even account for first round byes, 5, or 3 game series we used to have. Lose game one game 2 is an elimination game. It’s kinda like counting nfl playoff total records when some of the people in question didn’t have a wild card or maybe even divisional round. But ESPN loves to mislead if it gives them a segment of discussion so we will never stop seeing graphics on the subject.

He’s not catching LeBron though

exactly. doesnt really mean anything if comparing to players who played less games in the first round.

That's outdated. LeBron now has 6911 points.
MJ averaged more points, but less assists and less rebounds.
However long it takes LeBron to get to 6, he will still get there faster than Jordan would have with the same teammates and the same competition.

A 1 dimensional player ONLY known for his scoring can't even crack a top 25 post season scoring list. :oldlol::facepalm

That's because that's a longevity list. A list of total points scored in a career in the playoffs. That's why you see Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili on it because the Spurs went to the playoffs like clockwork for near two decades.
If you were to divide it by number of games played to get the average points per game career totals it would be the following list:
Rank Player PPG
1. Michael Jordan* 33.45
2. Allen Iverson* 29.73
3. Jerry West* 29.13
4. Kevin Durant 29.09
5. LeBron James 28.92
6. Rick Barry* 27.33
7. Elgin Baylor* 27.04
8. Stephen Curry 26.50

Curry always gets bailed out by his teammates in the postseason and when there are times that he's burdened to carry his team on his own, he barely wins. Just like in game 3 of last year's finals, despite scoring 47 points.

You say this like George Gervin was chopped liver - he was a 4x Scoring Champ.
What this list shows are the members of great teams of the PAST.
