View Full Version : ginobili is very underrated
he played the role of a 6th man but he was actually one of the best shooting guards of the time.
if he was on another team and was allowed to chuck like a harden then we all agreed that he could put up 27+ points per game as well.
4 championships is not a bad result for the sacrifice.
6 time champion and highly-esteemed arguable leader of the bulls dynasty scottie pippen also agrees:

ginobili sacrificed a lot in stats but was rewarded in wins.

if harden doesnt win a ring that means his career was the exact opposite of ginobilis
ginobili sacrificed a lot in stats but was rewarded in wins.
harden sacrificed a lot in championships but was rewarded in stats.
the okc core from 2012 was good enough to win rings together. kd harden russ ibaka thats a nasty squad IMO all reaching their primes with chemistry.
harden improved the most I think he was going to improve regardless and ibaka became a better shooter. they would've been great.

just googling the name "manu" is hilarious. :lol
Manu is a term found with various meanings in Hinduism. In early texts, it refers to the archetypal man, or to the first man.The Sanskrit term for 'human', मानव means 'of Manu' or 'children of Manu'.
the GOAT.
:biggums:
Manu had two chips already prior to facing lbj and his cavs in the '07 finals.

If were going by this board he is overrated. There are numbskulls here who will tell you he was as good as someone like Dwyane Wade

No one underrates Ginobili
Who has ever underrated Ginobli? Everyone always speaks highly of him.
I feel like he doesnt get brought up much when it comes to the spurs and in general. but his teammates all say they wouldnt have won without him.
to be honest I think the spurs in general are underrated.

No they aren't. They just aren't as likeable as many other teams. Never met a Spurs fan in my life yet we can acknowledge they have been good over the years.

He was a risk taker. If you are a nostalgic guy you may remember him better than he was. Him and Parker were same level of players. No one ever talks about Tony Parker though.

Manu was significantly better than Tony
05 Manu is arguably a top 5 SG peak ever. He was a monster that playoffs and outplayed prime Nash, Ray and Billups H2H and was robbed of FMVP
Manu was the Spurs best offensive player basically every year from 05-14 besides 12/13 where it was Tony. And many of those years Manu and Timmy were 1a/1b. Tony wasnt ever sniffing prime Manu and wasnt on his level at all until Manu started getting much older and end of his prime in the 2010s
