it is so rare to see it happen. and if you think to this most players will not do it once. but if you can do it twice its so bizarre. excellent skill

Mccaw had a 3-peat from 2017-19. Who knows if he'll have another one tho.

If he's a lucky charm to every team he plays for, then probably yes lmao.

So did Pippen...

Of course it is possible but it will be tougher to do going forward because of free agency. Teams will break apart and new super teams form faster so to see one team dominant that long will be tough. Plus you need a dash of injury luck.

Look at the closest thing we have had to the 90s Bulls since, the Warriors. 5 finals in a row, 3 chips but injuries denied them last year and then free agency broke the team up.

Because no dynasties last forever, my friend.

Yup. I just think reigns will be shorter because of free agency. The 90's Bulls, 80's Lakers, 80's Celtics all had roughly decade long windows of contention and dominance. I don't think we will see that again.

And the warriors happened to be the most recent dynasty in the league, unless we're also taking into account bran's 8-straight years of dominance in the east, which is halved into two different teams ofc.

I don't think we can count two teams. LeBron was the constant but everything else turned over.

The 2010s Heat are somewhat similar to the 80s Pistons. They had a 4 or 5 year run and cashed in twice during that period.

Depends. Will there ever be 6 teams added to the league again?

It takes a weak ass era where there is a lack of solid competition or having a ultra stacked team to 3-peat twice in the same decade so I hope not

I like competition
