View Full Version : Why did Kyrie run away from Lebron?
That was a weird one.. Nobody talk about it i've noticed. What's the story and why does he rather play with KD?

Nice try at 3 am, but Kyrie was traded after threatening to sit out the season by taking knee surgery.

Ooo i see, thx for clearing that up, so it was because of knee injury? Had no idea.

Because every night, Kyrie would get introduced as the starting PG, but then lebron would take the point from him and Kyrie would have to share the ball-handler role
Ultimately, teammates have less hold-time and assists in lebron's 2-PG lineups then traditional 1-PG lineups - less teammate assists results in low TEAM assists and ball movement that struggles on the championship level
Indeed, the common thread in lebron's last 4 Finals losses is massive deficits in team assists (and record hold-time for lebron)

No no you don't understand, they didn't allow him to have knee surgery or something like that. Right drew?

No, lebron took the point from him and he was sick if it
But that's all lebron knows.. that low class AAU ball.. dribble, dribble, dribble... I'm amazed people think it's genius.. its 1*/9 and beginner-ball compared to the brand MJ played

He brings up an excellent point
Lebron ran off Kyrie, thus ruining the franchise.. no wonder they suck now

I thought he was frustrated too by that ghetto ball stat padding style, but this high iq and respectable poster told me knee surgery.. so i don't know.

But can we focus on that knee surgery maybe? Why are you still up at 3 am? It's 1 pm here in europe.

He was threatening to have knee surgery if the Cavs didn't trade him. Really brutal shit when you think about it.
And he found out that Lebron, Klutch Sportz, and Griffin were trying to trade him to Phoenix for another Klutch player (Bledsoe) and Paul George.
"In mid-June, shortly before Griffin left, team and league sources confirm, the Cavs explored a three-way deal with Phoenix and Indiana that would have shipped Irving and [Channing] Frye to the Suns and brought Eric Bledsoe and Paul George to Cleveland. The Suns resisted, unwilling to part with their No. 4 pick, which they planned to use to draft Josh Jackson."

After that, he threatened to have knee surgery in order to get away from Lebron and the Cavs because he was stabbed in the back.

That's very scary.
