You talking about when Mike gave him 48 in 3 quarters? No, Stackhouse had career years later on for the Pistons. Kwame was trash because Kwame is trash. And was mentally fragile. Steakhouse however, that dude could fight.

he was pretty ass on the pistons and in general on offense in the nba. his efficiency was piss poor everywhere.

for reference, his ORTG was lower than his DRTG in every single year of his career. impact wise he was a massive bust off what his out of college expectations were.

but he was balling as a rookie before this game.

the league were just copying what the Bulls did, the big man formula in all likely hood was too rare to replicate, so green lights were flashing everywhere while franchises were winning multiples

MJ and Stackhouse were teammates on the Wizards in 2003. There's a book called When Nothing Else Matters (2004) by a Wizards beat reporter that covers MJ's 2 seasons with them. And it's made pretty clear in it that Stackhouse was not one to be messed with. And neither did MJ that year.

And no, MJ did not ruin Stackhouse with that 1 game. He went on to have a pretty decent career.

No. Jerry Stackhouse was nothing special. Besides, his one healthy year with Jordan he put up his numbers. His career basically fell like it did because of injuries, that he was getting older, and he ended up on teams where he clearly wasn't going to be the 1st or 2nd option anymore. He basically put up numbers when he was allowed to do whatever he wanted. He was never a guy who put those numbers into actual impact basketball.

I see. I was assuming the guy made the video because of the Jerry Stackhouse Jordan comments.

Had scoring talent but was pretty dumb and a shot-jacker, without Iverson's fight and that extra bit of talent.
