The key is MJ's efficient high volume - that's why Mitch Richmond couldn't win in place of MJ - sure, anyone can jack up the volume, but only MJ could do it efficiently so the bulls could win

So if we gave 85' MJ a sidekick like Worthy (Pistons-Celtic killer), he would've 3-peated in the 80's.

A couple rings for worthy in 89' and 90' would give Worthy a 2-ring headstart on Pippen as a young pro, after already being better than Pippen in HS, college and the draft - there's no way Pippen overcomes this to still be ranked higher all-time.. The OP has only been here for the month of April, but I respect what he's saying.

The way I view it is that Jordan had an insane ability to quickly and effectively get a good shot off almost at will. And nobody else could do the same. It was more effortless, thus high percentage.
