2011. LeBron James gets outscored by Jason Terry in the NBA Finals and loses.

Those numbers look like Bird outplayed McHale to me. Yes he was outscored, but did the other things at a high level.

It's the same as when AD outscores LBJ, but it's completely apparent to all who see the game that LBJ is the best and most influential player in the court.

Its a team sport not always the higher averaging scorer gets the MVP. Bird nearly averaged a triple double with 2.7 SPG to add to it.

fans of greatness fam™ dont need to trash other GOATs to make our case stronger or our girth thicker and even more swollen like a huge thick girthy mass.

we just reveal the facts and let people decide for themselves.

adults can make their own decisions. like madonna choosing pippen over mike.

Larry and others consider that his finest moment and even a half assed fan should be able to see why off this alone:

But you and the other clowns who come here to do nothing but bash or prop up Lebron directly or indirectly aren’t even half assed fans. You’re the deep set shit stains on the toilet that is internet basketball discussion. All you really do is let people know how little we take care of the place. We are embarrassed of you but at this point....it would take way more scrubbing than we are willing to do. So there you sit. Brown streaks steady reminding us of our laziness and capping the level of female we can bring over here at like a 6. An 8 won’t put up with you. Too many suitors have some pride and clean up after themselves.

You...and our hesitation to scrub you away?

You're why this forum dates hoes from work who are office cute. Office 7s but real world 5s. They will look right past you. They don’t have a future either and a shitty forum is still a place to sleep and feel wanted.

You shit stains made us a bunch of Karen from HR ****ers. It will do. But we can’t put you on social media like it’s an accomplishment.

24/10/9 on a solid shooting percentage is supposed to be a bad finals?

Yes he averaged 1.8 more ppg in the final series. Very true. Let's look at a few other stats like apg: Larry Bird 9.5apg, Mchale 1.7apg, Bird 9.7rpg to Mchales 8.5. Bird series leading 2.7spg to Mchales 0.8. Larry was basically nearly averaging a 24ppg 10, 10 triple double. Mchale clearly didn't have his overall impact despite leading the team in ppg's for the series. Anyone who wnats to argue different is a stupid man with a stupid argument like OP.

More accurate:

Mchale: 26-9-3 63 TS%
Bird: 24-10-10-3 58 TS%

It clearly looks like Bird deserve the FMVP.

McHale: 26-9-3 (57% fg)
Bird: 24-10-9 (48% fg)

McHale 25.8/8.5/1.7/0.8/2.5 (GmSc 20.3)
Bird 24.0/9.7/9.5/2.7/0.3 (GmSc 23.9)

The Finals MVP almost always goes to the player on the winning team with the highest GmSc. I think there have only been like 3 instances in the last 40 years that it hasn't happened (1988, 2008, 2015).
