Yeah it's annoying as hell when quoting an article and the damn character count exceeds that much. These posts only age well if the link stays valid. Why not just quote it instead? Oh wait, character limit.

Tons of old posts have already been erased because of it or something else. If you look at old threads posts will have random commas and then huge portions of the post will be missing.
