Hanks is literally one of the best actors of all time. Pratt is not even in the realm of great actors. Just a cool action typecast or funny dude.

Pretty safe to say he’s already broken out. He’s not Hanks though.

I'd say Tom Hanks was around the same caliber as Pratt until 1993 when he got the role in Philadelphia. Since then he got roles in so many classics like Forrest Gump, Green Mile, Cast Away, Saving Private Ryan, Apollo 13. I wouldn't say Hanks is a great actor but he's very good at his range and has a certain charisma. Like Denzel.

Just no. People seemed to have a little love affair with him when Guardians and Jurassic World came out, but Pratt is a typical flavor of the moment. He already feels like yesterdays news. Hanks is one of the best actors of all time with infinitely more acting range and has remained relevant through the decades.
