MJs sidekick/"star" 16/6/5 3to 2nd option's migraine is the reason MJ wasn't a 7 time champ and first 4peat of the modern era. Pistons would be forgotten in history as just a good, dirty team that was lucky title against an injured Lakers team

When you have constant surges of bloodflow to organs in your body, it tends to bring on massive migraines
For Scottie were talking 2-3 liters of blood to his genitalia

You can't pin that just on Pippen. That was legitimately the worst supporting cast performance in history
Pippen: 2 points on 1/10
Grant: 10 points on 3/17
Hodges: 8 points on 3/13
Cartwright: 6 points on 3/9
Armstrong: 2 points on 1/8

Yeah but Scottie was the "all star" he's held to a higher standard.
Fittingly he didn't even make the team when they won the title the next season:oldlol:

Bingo.
There was so much pressure on Pip to lead the defense, he often had to make use of all three legs for extended periods of time. Which is very taxing on the blood supply. He would use his third leg to whack at the opponents shins and thighs to slow them down and trip them up. And because it was tucked within his shorts the refs had difficulty seeing it. Players used to call him “package trippin Pippen.” Not only that but he used it for balancing his lateral movement, as well as poking an opponent’s dribble away from them.
We saw Lebron suffer a similar side effect during Crampgate in the 2014 finals. Between his arms, legs, and front tail, he had five appendages working overtime and could not maintain adequate oxygen. The Spurs of course knew this was a possibility and sabotaged the air conditioning intentionally.
A third leg is a tremendous asset but it can also be an occasional liability.

I don't know if Pippen being healthy guarantees a different result, as shown above the rest of the team didn't exactly come through. What it does suggest to me is that any of the Bulls teams from 91 onwards beats those Pistons squads.

People never want to acknowledge this fact. People give Jordan a pass for retiring a month before the start of the 94 season and thus sabotaging the Bulls chances of winning a 4th straight title. Something that had never been done in the modern era. And it left the Bulls in a bad position to try to find a suitable replacement.
But Pippen losing his father in the middle of the playoffs and then having to go against a team full of players who are doing things that can end your career. And thus hurt your entire family. No, Pip is supposed to overlook his personal issues.

In what area did Pippen relieve MJ?
Scoring - mj had goat scoring and clutch margin over a 2nd option
Defense - mj had more dpoy votes than pippen every year
Passing - mj had equal assists
Enforcer - mj had to save (https://i.makeagif.com/media/4-07-2019/4EMYLq.gif) pip

^^^ that's the definition of woat 2nd option, yet people say Pippen was "the best 2nd option MJ could've had"... Nonsense... Never knew that. Makes a lot more sense than the mysterious migraine. The ironic part is if he is lying or exaggerating the migraine to save face...it would probably have been better received if he said his father passed less than a week before and he wasn’t in a proper place mentally. But who knows the migraine could have been real.

Why do you keep asking the same questions? The answer to this has been beat to death. Even Jordan said Pip took a lot of pressure off him.
Sometime it seems that the argument isnt so much about Pippens ability or value. Its "he did play as good as Jordan so he sucks." Nobody ever has for long. Otherwise, Jordan wouldn't be considered the GOAT.

Jesus. He was so soft. MJ really did have to build him up mentally. If he just produced normal averages Bulls could’ve won and probably could’ve even got a chip in 1990. Kind of like LeBron underperforming you normal expectations in 2011.

That's because MJ wasn't planning on retiring. He was told to by the league: https://www.thefixisin.net/like-mike
Here's an excerpt:
I don’t believe that the news conference called on October 6, 1993 was what it purported itself to be. There were no tears in Michael Jordan’s eyes. There was no sadness, no cracking voices. Merely a statement followed by some quick, easy to answer questions, and then “retirement.”

Exactly, the problem wasn't a migraine, the moment of a game 7 was huge and Scottie hadn't grown up yet. In the Last Dance, MJ said he'd stand with him (Pippen), just stand and fight. Pipp wouldn't fight yet. I've heard multiple Pistons player state if they could knock Scottie down they could beat the Bulls. In 1991, he had arrived.
I also don't think enough blame is given to Horace Grant. He was soft going up against Sally and Mahorn.

People act like he is the only player to ever get a migraine. Kareem had them multiple times since he was 15. The only reason we keep hearing about this is to assign blame to Pippen (implying the Bulls could not win without Pippen :pimp: ) because Jordan won, the team lost.

1990 Pippen.... migraine cost Bulls title
1990 KJ........... goat upset over 1-seeded Lakers
Conclusion... MJ would've won with KJ instead of Pippen
Crowning achievements of various 2nd options:
Worthy...... FMVP... 30 on 64% in WCF and many other series; the scoring and clutch leader on goat team
Kareem..... FMVP... goat candidate
Dumars..... FMVP... 28 and 8 apg in 89' Finals
KJ.............. routinely led 55 win teams and dominated Magic's 1-seeded Lakers to make WCF
Kobe.......... 30 ppg sidekick to peak Shaq and clutch leader of league
Wade......... 27 ppg in 11' Finals.. great in 12' Finals too.. prime Pippen stats in 13' Finals
AD.............. 28/15/4 vs goat Warriors in 18' Playoffs
Kemp......... dominated 96' Finals vs goat defenders (Payton dominated defensively)
Stockton... #1 all-time in assists and steals.. top 3 passer all-time
Penny........ Outplayed Pippen in 95' and 96' Playoffs
Maxwell..... FMVP... but McHale frequently led Celtics in scoring with 25+ in many series
^^^ that's all better than Pippen, and Kyrie is better too:
Pippen'... won 55 games in reg season and lost in 2nd Round... 19 on 42% for Finals career, last in clutch pts
