View Full Version : Why didn’t LeBron have opportunities to win championships averaging 15ppg?

Like Kobe in 2000, Duncan in 2014, Shaq in 2006, Wade in 2013

And why didn’t LeBron have opportunities to win with Jordan’s blunders (27/6/4 on 41% in 1996 and 4/2 on 42% in 1998)?

OP really didn't think this one through since 2011 WAS Lebron's chance.

Of course OP is also the type of guy to shit on all of those players he listed in his OP but come up with 20 excuses for Lebron in 2011.

Except he averaged 18ppg not 15ppg, and his team lost

You just made my point for me :oldlol: When LeBron averages 18ppg, his team loses

But Kobe, Duncan, Wade, Jordan can all win while playing like shit

Why?

LeBron had this opportunity several times. Once in 2011 against the Mavs. Once against Kawhi's Spurs and once again against the Warriors when Iggy won finals MVP.

Basically he had several opportunities but he gave them all up to the opposing teams SF to win the finals MVPs like the cuck he is.

Well he didn’t win a championship scoring nine points less than his normal averages. Because he quit when not being the center of the spotlight.

That or he just got locked up by geriatric versions of Jason Kidd, Shawn Marion, and the plumber that is JJ Barea.

Given that he has gone 3 for 9 in Finals match ups, he’s not exactly playing the right way statistically or otherwise.

The thing is that...

Nobody has ever tried to intentionally hurt Lebron because they think they didn't need to go to that extreme in order to beat him.

Because LeBron had the GOAT shoulder burden

Wade in 2013 averaged 20/4/5/2 in the finals, so he doesn't even qualify for your OP. MJ in 96 played much better than Lebron in 2011.

2000 Kobe, 2006 Shaq, and 2014 Duncan were not in their primes. I agree that those rings aren't impressive on an all-time scale.

The issue is that Lebron was in the MIDDLE of his prime and completely choked in 2011. He had a teammate put up 25/7/5 and outplay him, and he still couldn't win a ring as the favorite. Sure the 2011 Heat were actually a flawed team, but that's no excuse for Lebron to choke in the finals for almost the whole series.

It's pathetic that you are trying to spin Lebron's 2011 choke as reality somehow being "unfair" to Lebron because he lost.

Kobe got swept in 2011 with a title favorite team
