actual coach of the so called THUGS of the NBA? I mean shouldnt he been kept off the team too since he was part of the Pistons team that most of the NBA hated??? Looked stupid to have the coach of the Bad Boys and not Isiah Thomas. One of the biggest mysteries of the NBA

At least Thomas played in Dream Team II.

But why didnt his coach speak up for his star player being on the team?

I'm still disgusted and outraged by the conspiracy against isiah to this day.

magic and mj should be ashamed. these guys are the real villains. not isiah or laimbeer or the pistons.

Why? Bird and Scottie disliked him too. His presence would have been a disruption to team chemistry. Why risk that when you already have the greatest talent ever assembled? Blame Isaiah for being an assh*le no one wanted to play with.

This. Stockton is the prototypical backup PG anyway.

Not to mention that by that point, Stockton was the better PG, anyhow.

if you watched the Last Dance documentary and all the other interviews

MJ said it wasnt him, but that EVERYONE on that dream team (players) hated Isaiah. Bird hated the pistons, Barkley said he hated the pistons. Pippen and MJ didnt like them.
Magic even took responsibility for leaving IT out.

not that I agree with it. IT is a great PG.

Yeah I’ve kinda wondered this as well. Why does Daily get let off the hook for his own team walking of the floor? And when it comes to the physical play backlash why is it all on the players and not the coach?

pretty sure they just didn't know if it was more straight to accept the guy who is now hooked with your ex, or that banger, being a one timer. anyhow, since it's your ex, not that it matters, because in short, dong size don't matter.

It's really no mystery. It's simply no one cares that much about the coach. I'm not even sure they care enough to hate Joe Dumars. Or Vinnie Johnson.

What a soft generation. They are still crying about it 30 years later.

You don't have to like each other to play together. A lot of MJ's Bulls teammates couldn't stand him and they did pretty well.

It was just petty to make sure he was off the team and MJ led the charge.

Never understood why a bunch of pros were allowed to play in the Olympics. There was some confusion at the time.

Regarding the Thomas talk - I found it hilarious the way people started bashing him on here after seeing MJ speak about him. Don't recall anyone hating on him here before the false idol cult leader spoke his mind.
