Re-watching the 2004 NBA Finals, I see Bryon Russell was on that 04 Lakers squad with Gary Payton.

That got me thinking - list NBA players who lost in the finals on multiple different teams:

Example:
Eric Dampier (tragic - was on the Mavericks in 2006 and the Heat in 2011.
Bryon Russell (Jazz/Lakers
Gary Payton (96 Sonics / 04 Lakers)
Danny Ainge ***3 different teams - lost with the Celtics in the 80's, Portland in 90-92, and Suns in '93.
Kareem (Bucks/Lakers)
Karl Malone (Not sure if this counts as he was injured in the finals in '04
Shaq - 95 Orlando / 04 Lakers
Stephen Jackson (2001 Nets / 2013 Spurs)

Did Wilt lose with 3 different teams?

I saw Horace Grant on that '04 Lakers bench. So he makes the list (95 Magic / 04 Lakers).
Plus Rasheed Wallace - 05 Pistons / 10 Celtics.

I think Kobe shot 7/21 in that game. Man he had bad elimination games.

04 Finals game 5: 7/21
08 Finals game 6: 7/22
10 FInals game 7 - 6/24

Anderson Varejão;

Lost against the Warriors in 2015. Joined them in 2016, and lost to his former team. In 2017, the Warriors waived him and won another Championship, LOL.

(he did get a ring for 2017).

And Texas is about the only state with a winning record on the 1st pick of the draft, while the Cowboys keep on stockpiling Lizzos

Well I mean that is the low hanging fruit - 2 losses with 1 team, 4x finals losses with another. Impressive.

Why mention the obvious? It's pretty much common knowledge Lebron is a final's loser

Stephen Jackson technically was waived in the WCF in 2013.
