Kevin Love obviously saw something in the doc that made him realize MJ was a superior level of alpha than what he'd previously seen

So that makes mj selfish then, right? And if he's that selfish in the finals, then he can't be the goat? 🤔

Combined series record against GOAT

0-11

Thats what happens when u play your prime against GOAT unfortunately. Look what Ewing did in 94 with no GOAT. Beat the Bulls (his only win against the Bulls in the Jordan era) and game 7 of the NBA finals, literally a possession away from being a champion:cry:

He was not a gracious and free giver of rings/FMVPs like one Bran babyboi:oldlol:

not many people start a thread with the content showing that human life expectancy shouldn't just be projected to be longer. but here we are

Yes Jordan is GOAT, I think everyone knows that deep down even if there's a handful of people who try to deny it. Even they probably know it too.

That said, this board's obsession with this topic is getting kinda lame. LeBron is turning 36 soon, Kobe is very sadly gone from us way too soon (and I say that in all sincerity). Its kind time to wrap this crap up as far as bickering about this stuff.

If you were too young and didn't know any better, this doc basically tells you most of what you need to know and probably gives you the proper insight into why Jordan was a big deal and who he was as a player.

Yes he was an "alpha dog". Yes he was dominant and that good. Yes, he did lose and has some blemishes on his career. Yes he is a human being, and human beings are flawed and complex creatures, not cardboard cut outs. That said he did overall a remarkable good job of carrying the mantle of the NBA for a long time and if the worst thing you can say is "well he didn't sign an autograph for Chamillionaire that one time, and he couldn't beat the Celtics and Pistons single handedly" well then I'd say you've done a pretty good job.

LeBron is a great player too, Kobe was also. So was Shaq. Appreciate great players and enjoy them while it lasts.

takes a wise man to notice the young man who is ahead, for it is the young man that provides the comfort food
takes a grown man to spot the elder who is leading, for it is he, who replenishes the appetite
