Notes:

- Dirk could easily be #2.
- I rated LBJ 2016 #3 because of his finals performance. (GOAT ring)
- Wasn't sure what to round out the list with, so I threw Steph and KD in there.

I think Durant's 2012 run should shunt out his 2018 one or at least outrank it if you want to include both.

2012

28.5 PPG on 63.2% TS; 7.4 RPG; 3.7 APG; 1.5 SPG; 1.2 BPG.

Opponents' defensive rankings:

-Mavericks (#8)
-Lakers (#13)
-Spurs (#11)
-Heat (#4)

2018

29 PPG on 60.6% TS; 7.8 RPG; 4.7 APG; 0.7 SPG; 1.2 BPG.

Opponents' defensive rankings:

-Spurs (#4)
-Pelicans (#12)
-Rockets (#6)
-Cavaliers (#29!)

They're comparable on-paper, but 2012 is much more impressive when contextualizing that he did so without the luxury of an Olympian supporting cast, hit multiple game-winners en route, and had much better, healthier competition overall.

He didn't immortalize it with a championship, sadly, but how culpable is he for that? He played well enough on the biggest stage—and against a worthy defensive opponent, unlike in '17 and '18—to absolve himself, even if he left much to be desired defensively; he just had the misfortune of playing a better, more seasoned Heat team.

I think I'd replace 2015 Curry & 2018 Durant with 2010 Kobe & 2012 Durant
