View Full Version : You realize LeBron played better against the Mavs in 2011 than Kobe did?

LeBron: 18/7/7 on 47% 13.7 game score

Kobe: 23/3/2 on 46% 13.6 game score

Why is this never brought up? :lebronamazed:

And Kobe got swept while having home court advantage while LeBron only lost in 6

Difference was LeBrick was in his prime while Kobe was not only past his prime but also playing on one leg the whole season.

Wrong. Kobe shit the bed far worse because he couldn't get outside of his own head. He wasn't built for the big moments like LeBron is.

“B-But Kobe was old”!

So the excuse was Kobe was old at 32 years old, but didn’t we just witness LeBron having the GOAT playoffs and Finals run at 33 years old in 2018? With far, far more mileage on his body than Kobe at the same age?

No coming back from this one.

Kobe had the advantage of having chemistry with his teammates and coaches for years, yet he still was swept. I would say their performances are equally bad for their expectations.

Kobe completely quit in the last two games as well which people forget

Also Jason Terry was torching him the entire series

LeBron was a considerably better player than Kobe in 2011, so his expectations were and should have been higher.

Terry went in on both Kobe and Lebron.

Weird how Kobe and Lebron struggled against the 11 Mavs but DWade had a great series.

Also how did the Mavs role players just catch fire for the whole playoffs? Pretty crazy stuff.

Wade also played better against Boston in 2010 than either Kobe or LeBron did

Wade had good stats but was just as pathetic in crunchtime as Lebron was. So it was pretty hollow.

Bitch ass tried flopping on a gamewinner after Miami choked away a 15 point 4th quarter lead.

Yeah that's a sore spot for Kobe stans they try to forget

It's funny, all of Lebron's notorious chokes were still substantially superior to Kobe's overall placement that same very season

2007

Bron: Finals - swept Spurs
Kobe: 1st rnd - 1-4 suns

2011

Bron: Finals - 2-4 Mavs
Kobe: 2nd rnd - swept Mavs

Shit, even in 08 Bron took the Cavs vs Celtics to the final seconds of gm7, while Kobe got torched in a quick six (40 point blowouts). 2009 LBJ one of the best playoff performances of all time.

It's arguable the only playoffs between 2006-2016 that Kobe outdid Lebron was in 2010. Once in ten years

Kobe was always a regular season specialist
